Not only will the Eagles host the Falcons for the first game of the 2024 season at Lincoln Financial Field, but Jason Kelce will be involved in the broadcast.

The Eagles schedule for the whole 2024 NFL season will drop later in the evening, but leaks are starting to come out, including the team’s Week 2 matchup. After opening the season in Brazil, the Eagles will be back in Philadelphia for their home opener, hosting the Atlanta Falcons on ‘Monday Night Football’.

It was recently announced that Jason Kelce is joining ESPN’s ‘Monday Night Football’ broadcast for the 2024 season, including their pre-game show, and will be involved in this Week 2 game. Kelce being around Lincoln Financial Field for the home opener, even if he isn’t on the field, will be a nice touch — also nice will be actually getting a national broadcast of this Eagles team, since their Week 1 international game will be exclusively streamed on Peacock (except in the local Philly area).

Howie Roseman made a lot of good moves this offseason, and it’ll be exciting to finally see what the group can do with some of these new pieces. The prospect of being able to shake off the stench of the 2023 season and move on with a talented roster is worth tuning in for.
