Here are what contracts tell us about Seahawks’ undrafted rookie class – The Seattle Times
Ultimately, whether any of the 18 undrafted rookie free agents the Seahawks have on their roster make the team will be determined by what they do on the field. Teams can give UDFAs guaranteed money in two ways — from a pool of $183,103 that each team receives to give in signing bonuses, and in guaranteed salary. The guaranteed money is important because every UDFA initially receives the same contract — a three-year deal that is worth $2,830,000 overall consisting of salaries of $795,000 in 2024, $960,000 in 2025 and $1,075,000 in 2026. Guaranteed salaries do not count extra against the salary cap, while the bonus money does.
