Silver and Black kickoff the season on the road in L.A.

It’s finally here as the NFL released the 2024 schedule on Wednesday evening. The Las Vegas Raiders will begin the campaign on the road against a division rival, the Los Angeles Chargers. According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Raiders will also be Week 1 underdogs as DraftKings’ opening lines have the Chargers as a field goal favorite.

Week 1 Odds

  • Spread: LAC -3
  • O/U: 44
  • LAC ML: -162
  • LV ML: +136

While SoFi Stadium is typically packed with silver and black jerseys and has been deemed the Raiders’ home away from home given the strong fanbase in Los Angeles, the team has struggled to beat the Chargers in SoCal. Since the Bolts moved to Los Angeles in 2017, the Raiders are 2-5 on the road against their AFC West rivals. So, the opening week of the season will be a good chance to re-write the script.

This will also be Jim Harbaugh’s regular-season debut as Los Angeles’ head coach and the first game for Antonio Piere without the interim tag.

DraftKings also has future bets available and the Raiders are currently a +10000 bet to win the Super Bowl. That’s tied for the fifth-longest odds in the league while the Chargers are closer to the middle of the pack at +3000.

So, head over to DraftKings Sportsbook if you have the itch to get some early bets in and the payout would be pretty nice if you think Las Vegas will be hoisting the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the year!
