The Jacksonville Jaguars haven’t won back-to-back games since October 2019. Nearly three years later, they have a chance to do that on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3.

History isn’t on Jacksonville’s side. In five road games against the Chargers (four were in San Diego), the Jaguars are 0-5.

However, the Chargers come into the matchup more than a little banged up. Pro Bowl quarterback Justin Herbert is questionable due to a rib cartilage fracture and he spent Friday out of action while Chase Daniel took the first-team reps in practice. The team also listed star receiver Keenan Allen as questionable and their prized free agent acquisition, cornerback J.C. Jackson,  as doubtful.

So what do the Jaguars need to do to find a rare cross-country road victory and improve to 2-1? Here are three keys to finding a Week 3 win:
