Joe Douglas made fixing the Jets’ tight end room a priority in free agency, signing Tyler Conklin and C.J. Uzomah to multi-year deals in order to solidify New York’s future at the position.

Douglas invested a good amount of money in Conklin and Uzomah. That may not necessarily preclude New York from going after a tight end in the 2022 NFL draft, though, as the Jets could still use more quality depth. Mike LaFleur’s offense makes use of tight ends early and often. It wouldn’t hurt to have another option other than Kenny Yeboah flanking Conklin and Uzomah on the depth chart.

Here are six tight ends the Jets could target later this month. Keep in mind New York is not likely to pick a tight end early given the approach it took in free agency, but that’s not completely out of the realm of possibility.
