Congratulations to the Phoenix Suns on advancing to the NBA Finals

We are clearly an Arizona Cardinals fan site, but I know many of you are Arizona sports fans. As a fellow fan of Arizona sports, let me tell I know the pain of trying to support these franchises.

It is never easy and the Phoenix Suns had become one of the worst franchises in the NBA.

That is now over and they are onto the NBA Finals for the first time since 1993.

I was seven years old the last time the Suns played in an NBA Finals. I stopped following the NBA in 2011 as kids, school and football took up most of my time.

My sons have taken the passion up for me over the last couple of seasons, telling me how much I am missing with Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton and Mikal Bridges.

Then the Suns acquired Chris Paul and it completely transformed this franchise.

Getting Monty Williams and Chris Paul has changed this franchise and given them a chance to reach the finals and maybe… Just maybe win their first NBA Finals in franchise history.
