Instead of watching the Broncos embarrass themselves again, at least Broncos Country gets to enjoy a pleasant day of stress-free football.

Good morning, Broncos Country!

At least the Denver Broncos don’t play this weekend.

That’s where we are right now with this franchise. It’s only been five years since the Broncos won the Super Bowl, and it feels like so much longer. Still, what a sad and sorry state of affairs for a once-proud franchise.

The good news is Denver rookies Javonte Williams and Pat Surtain II seem like the real deal. They’ll be fun to watch for years to come. There’s also receiver Jerry Jeudy, who should return against the Washington Football Team. Aside from that, I honestly don’t know. Nor do I care.

I’m trying to stay positive, I really am, but the Broncos make it so hard, especially since the Super Bowl win.

The good news is the team doesn’t play this weekend. So we can sit back and enjoy a pleasant day of stress-free football where the Broncos can’t embarrass themselves again.
