The Monday Morning Xtra Point, former NFL quarterback Brandon Doughty & Len Martez wrap up week seven in the NFL including the Bucs rolling the Bears.

As week seven in the NFL wrapped up, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were one of five teams in their conference that had one loss or less. And this past Sunday, Tampa Bay added to their win total by beating the Chicago Bears, which is were former quarterback Brandon Doughty & Len Martez started their Monday Morning Xtra Point podcast.

Len began the podcast by stating despite missing two of his offensive weapons, Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady was extremely efficient & threw for four touchdowns against the Bears. Brandon picked it up from there & expressed, in his opinion, the Buccaneers are the best team in the NFL.

After talking about how well the Buccaneers are playing in all facets of the game, the Monday Morning Xtra Point Crew discussed one of the league’s biggest surprises. Both Brandon & Len were impressed with how the Cincinnati Bengals went into Baltimore on Sunday & dominated the Ravens. Brandon pointed out the swag that Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow seems to always play with, while Len jumped on the Bengals ability to put together big plays even against a quality defense like the Ravens.

Before the podcast ended, the Monday Morning Xtra Point Crew addressed the rumors of Brandon’s former team, Miami Dolphins contemplating a trade for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson. Brandon pointed out how Dolphins Head Coach Brian Flores has always made character a priority on his football team & a trade for Watson would go against everything Flores has been stressing since becoming a head coach. But as much as Len agreed to that point about Flores, he pointed out to Brandon that the decision to acquire Watson may be a decision that ownership may be pushing for to help keep interest in a team that currently has just one win this season.
