When the Jacksonville Jaguars traveled to play the Tennessee Titans a month ago, much was made about a video that Doug Pederson showed his team ahead of the divisional matchup.

It purportedly showed a reel of Titans players over the years who didn’t respect the Jaguars and referred to the team as the “little brother” of the division. The video seemed to work, as the “pissed off” Jaguars earned a 36-22 win.

But with massive stakes on the line in the Week 18 rematch, Pederson told reporters he doesn’t see much use in bringing the tape back out for a rewatch.

“Quite honestly, you don’t need to show a lot of videos to get motivated for this one,” Pederson said. “This will be an exciting football game, obviously, from a fan standpoint, from players and coaches.

“These are games that, they are playoff games. That’s exactly what it is. Call it what it is. It’s a playoff football game. You win, you keep going. With a young football team, it’s about how we handle the week because the emotions are going to run high, and you’ve got to just pace yourself throughout the course of the week and just turn it loose Saturday night.”

With a win, the Jaguars would secure a winning record for the second time in 15 years and the team would win the AFC South for the second time ever. With a loss, Jacksonville would need help Sunday to sneak into the playoffs as a wild card team.
