An induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame is the ultimate accomplishment for any former NFL player. However, as the league continues to evolve, the requirements to get into football’s most exclusive club have become harder to understand.

This has left a handful of players, including former Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, wondering whether or not they will someday be inducted.

Over 15 NFL seasons (14 in Atlanta), Ryan passed for 62,792 yards, 381 touchdowns, 183 interceptions and a career passer rating of 93.6. Ari Meirov of the 33rd Team asked Ryan if he should be in the Hall of Fame.

“I do,” said Ryan. “The numbers speak for themselves. The consistency speaks for itself. I hope it’s something that happens one day.”

Ryan would likely be a lock for the Hall of Fame had the Falcons not collapsed against the Patriots in the Super Bowl. With over a decade of consistent production under his belt, though, Ryan still has a legitimate chance.
