The first round of odds for the Cowboys /Vikings game is in.

The bye week is basically over for the Dallas Cowboys. Most of the Week 7 games have been played and the Cowboys will return for a light practice on Monday as they prepare for their Week 8 game on the road against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Cowboys are hot, coming off five straight wins and at 5-1 they open as two-point favorites over the Vikings (via DraftKings Sportsbook), even with the game on the road. The Vikings are also coming off of their bye week and are currently 3-3.

The big issue for the Cowboys is the health of quarterback Dak Prescott as he’s battling a calf injury. Don’t look for him to practice on Monday as sources report his first opportunity back on the field will likely come on Wednesday. Nothing will probably move the betting line anymore than Prescott’s health this week.

Outside of that, the Cowboys could be welcoming back some help as La’el Collins comes off suspension, and Michael Gallup will begin trying to work his way back into playing shape.
