Oh, you know why this is here

Ordinarily, we don’t do a lot of Open Threads for regular season games that don’t involve the Minnesota Vikings. However, given the circumstances of tonight’s game and the fact that Vikings fans will probably have a lot of interest in it, we’ll make an exception.

Tonight’s game on the NFL Network features the Denver Broncos heading to the shores of Lake Erie to take on the Cleveland Browns. With Baker Mayfield being out of this one for Cleveland, the quarterback matchup in this one will feature Case Keenum taking the snaps for the Browns and Teddy Bridgewater starting for Denver.

As we remember, both Bridgewater and Keenum were a part of the Vikings’ quarterback equation following the 2017 season, with Keenum having just led the purple to the NFC Championship Game and Bridgewater having finally recovered from a devastating knee injury. The Vikings parted ways with both of them, however, signing Kirk Cousins to a three-year deal a few weeks after free agency got underway.

Here’s how we on the DN staff are picking this one for this evening.

Only GA Skol is looking for the upset in this one. The Browns aren’t a huge favorite this evening, but favorites they are heading into this one.

So, if you’re going to be watching this battle of former Vikings’ quarterbacks, you can come on in and hang out with us and keep track of the action. Enjoy the game, everyone!
