The Titans, this morning, have made official the signing of Avery Williamson. They also announced that they have designated Amani Hooker to return from IR. That means he can practice with the team starting today. That opens up a 3-week window for the team to activate him or put him on season-ending IR. Here’s to hoping he will be ready to go this week against the Bills.

You might remember that the Titans spent this entire offseason bringing in any safety with a pulse. The starters, Hooker and Kevin Byard are good, but they have zero depth behind those guys, and it has shown since Hooker has been out.

The Titans need all hands on deck against the Buffalo passing attack on Monday night. Josh Allen has turned into one of the most dangerous quarterbacks in the league. He also has plenty of weapons in Stefon Diggs, Emmanuel Sanders and Dawson Knox. Those guys are the reason the Bills lead the league in scoring offense.

We will keep an eye on Hooker’s practice designations as the week progresses.
