A handful of key contributors returns to practice.

The New Orleans Saints are starting to get healthy, and that is evident with the first injury report after the bye week.

On the offensive line, both Terron Armstead and Erik McCoy return to practice, albeit in a limited fashion for both. However, McCoy has previously stated that he believes he’ll be ready for Monday Night Football against the Seattle Seahawks.

Elsewhere on the offense, Deonte Harris and Taysom Hill did not participate in practice due to injury. Malcolm Roach, the Saints young defensive tackle, also didn’t practice, with his issue an illness and not injury-related.

You might be looking for names like Kwon Alexander, Tre’Quan Smith, Marcus Davenport, and Wil Lutz, but this quartet, while all have been designated to return from injured reserve, have yet to be activated. That means their practice status is not reported on the injury report just yet. Reports are all four practiced at least in a limited capacity.

Michael Thomas, on the other hand, is still on the Physically Unable to Perform (“PUP”) list. He is not expected to return to practice for another week or two.

For the Seahawks, the first injury report is what we expected aside from Alex Collins not participating with a groin injury. Considering Seattle is already without Chris Carson at running back, Collins’s status will be one to monitor the rest of the week.
