Egomaniacal head coach that sucks on his own side of the ball. CHECK.

The Chicago Bears are down bad—like, 2020 Detroit Lions bad. Much like the Lions last year, they’re stuck with a stubborn head coach who has failed tremendously on the side of the ball he was deemed a “genius” at. And much like the Lions, it appears the team is headed towards another wasted season until the inevitable midseason firing of a head coach and general manager happens.

But don’t overlook this team completely. The defense is still very good, they’ve still got a very good running back, and while their quarterback is young and mistake-prone, he’s undoubtedly a weapon if Matt Nagy figures out how to use him properly.

So to help us break down what has gone terribly wrong for the Bears thus far, and to chat about the aspects of the team that are still dangerous, we brought our old friend Robert Zeglinski back from Windy City Gridiron. He helps us preview Lions vs. Bears and offers some predictions for Sunday.

Topics of discussion include:

  • Is there any chance of redemption for Matt Nagy?
  • How bad is the Bears offensive line?
  • The Bears defense is aging—is it more vulnerable now?
  • Clearing up the QB secrecy nonsense
  • PREDICTIONS!
