If he can grab a few interceptions he could find himself playing in Las Vegas for the Pro Bowl. </p> <p id="cYwxxQ">The defense of the Bears is looking for a bounce back season after two years of playing under Chuck Pagano, and a return to a Vic Fangio style could be exactly what fuels their return to dominance. </p> <p id="0DZJqW">Defensive coordinator Sean Desai sat under the learning tree of Fangio for four years, and when Fangio left to become the head coach of the <a href="https://www.milehighreport.com/">Denver Broncos</a> he thought so highly of Desai that he tried to bring him with him. If the Bears’ D can get some swagger back then I would expect both Smith and Johnson to have a great shot at their first ever Pro Bowl nods. </p> <p id="1lI9tx">On offense things are cloudier, but there’s at least one player that was knocking on the door a year ago and is heading into the 2021 season confident and with a chip on his shoulder. </p> <p id="RKQQnA"><strong>3) David Montgomery, running back:</strong> I’m expecting Montgomery to have an outstanding season, but I’m not sure if he’ll see enough volume to beat out the usual NFC suspects at running back. It really seems the Bears have the bodies for more of a committee than we’re used to seeing, but if Montgomery stays healthy his newfound speed could propel him to the Pro Bowl. </p> <p id="9FpXZ3"><em>You guys think there are any other players that could be Bears’ first timers at the Pro Bowl? </em></p></div>
