12 Bears free agents remain unsigned

The first wave of NFL free agency is in the books, and the Chicago Bears were quite active between signings and trades.

General manager Ryan Poles made some big moves to improve the roster, most notably on offense. That included a blockbuster trade for Pro Bowl receiver Keenan Allen and signing more weapons in running back D’Andre Swift and tight end Gerald Everett. The Bears also improved their defense with the addition of All-Pro safety Kevin Byard and, most importantly, re-signing star cornerback Jaylon Johnson to a long-term extension.

While Johnson got an extension and notable free agents signed elsewhere, not all of Chicago’s free agents have found homes so far this offseason.
