Falcons draft 2 Georgia players in Dane Brugler’s new 7-round mock

We’re officially one week away from the 2024 NFL draft and those around the league are making their final predictions. The Atlanta Falcons are slated for the No. 8 pick, but thanks to the Calvin Ridley trade, the team has an additional third-round selection (No. 79 overall).

Atlanta has four picks in the top 80, which gives general manager Terry Fontenot some serious ammo to work with. Alabama’s Dallas Turner has become the popular mock projection for the Falcons in Round 1, but we’re seeing the team take a variety of different routes in Rounds 2-7.

The Athletic’s Dane Brugler released a new seven-round mock draft that has the Falcons landing Turner along with two Georgia defenders. Check out all eight of Atlanta’s picks in Brugler’s mock below.
