The Houston Texans didn’t break the bank with any big-name free agents on the first day of the legal tampering period.

While Houston added a couple of depth pieces on defense and special teams, re-signed others and brought in a new defensive end and linebacker from the Tennessee Titans, the Texans didn’t bring in any stars like Saquon Barkley. The team even left back running back Devin Singletary, defensive end Jonathan Greenard and linebacker Blake Cashman walk in free agency.

The Texans retained a lot of salary cap space but now head into the rest of the week with a lot of roster holes and a lot of big names off the board. Fans were a bit perturbed by general manager Nick Caserio’s decisions and took to social media to air their grievances. Some understood, the moves, though.

Here are the top social media reactions from Day 1 of free agency.
