The Houston Texans made their big free agency move Tuesday after the team agreed to sign pass rusher Danielle Hunter. Houston gave Hunter a two-year, $49 million with $48 million guaranteed.

It was a huge move – one Texans fans had been waiting for all week after Houston entered free agency with nearly $70 million in salary cap space. While Houston mostly sat out the first day of the legal tampering period, general manager Nick Caserio added some depth pieces and replacements for players the team lost to other teams.

The Hunter deal is different. It’s a swing for the defenses to beef up the defensive line alongside NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Will Anderson Jr. Fans were unsurprisingly excited about the deal and took to social media to express their joy.

Offensive tackle Tytus Howard, offensive guard Kenyon Green, cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. and tight end Dalton Schultz even chimed in.
