2024 NFL mock draft: Bengals patch major hole after first wave of free agency

The Cincinnati Bengals exit the first wave of free agency with similar and obvious needs.

One is offensive line, even after the addition of Trent Brown on a one-year deal to play right tackle. Depth there and a long-term plan will remain a focal point for Joe Burrow’s offense.

Two, and perhaps more important in the wake of losing DJ Reader, is the interior of the defensive line. The team added Sheldon Rankins, but they appear short a true run-stuffing nose and some more pass-rush from the interior wouldn’t hurt, either.
