The 2024 NFL draft kicked off Thursday night during what was a chaotic first round that consisted of several big trades and record numbers for quarterbacks, wide receivers and offensive tackles. That left some top prospects, especially on defense, still on the board.

The Chicago Bears landed two offensive studs in the first round with quarterback Caleb Williams (No. 1) and wide receiver Rome Odunze (No. 9), and experts are raving about them as winners on Day 1. Williams and Odunze are friends and they are about to get a whole lot closer. As the Bears continue to get better, these two are going to be a big part of it.

Now, the second and third rounds will take place on Friday night. The Bears are only scheduled to make one pick (No. 75), but you never know what happens. There are a lot of good players for the 32 NFL teams to consider.
