2024 NFL mock draft roundup: Caleb Williams is the Bears’ pick at No. 1

The Chicago Bears have the first overall pick in the NFL draft for the second consecutive year. But, unlike last year, it’s not as certain that they’re going to trade it away.

In fact, analysts and insiders alike believe the Bears are going to keep the No. 1 pick and draft USC quarterback Caleb Williams, who’s being hailed as one of the best quarterback prospects in years. General manager Ryan Poles hasn’t made a decision at quarterback yet, as he’s going to let the evaluation process play out, including meeting with some of the top quarterbacks in this draft class.

Whether the Bears elect to stick with Justin Fields and trade the top pick or draft Williams remains to be seen. But what do the experts think?
