4 of Jets’ 7 draft picks were Senior Bowl players

Coaching the Senior Bowl proved fruitful for the Jets, as they drafted four players from the Mobile, Alabama event.

Gang Green and the Detroit Lions shared Senior Bowl coaching responsibilities earlier this year. Doing so allowed both teams an up-close look at some of the draft’s top prospects, as well as a few under-the-radar talents.

The Jets took full advantage of the opportunity, landing Jermaine Johnson with a first-round pick. But he wasn’t the only Senior Bowl player New York nabbed. Let’s take a look.
