This comes after Justin Skule tore his ACL earlier in the week

The 49ers lost their players to significant injuries this spring and will need to replace them before training camp starts next month. The first corresponding move the Niners have made came Friday morning. NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported the team is signing Senio Kelemente, who most recently played for the Texans last season.

Kelemete started five games for Houston last season and 13 for the Texans in 2018. So, he has starting NFL experience and should bring competition to the offensive line when the team reports to training camp on July 27.

Kelemente has been in the NFL for nine years and has started in 42 out of a possible 88 career games. He was primarily a left guard for the Texans, and that’s been the case for most of Kelemente’s career. However, Kelemente has lined up at tackle and surprisingly tight end during his career as well. Both of those positions came when he was with the Saints.
