Kittle was previously listed as questionable due to a calf injury

The 49ers elected to used Jacques Patrick over Kerryon Johnson, who has been with the team longer. That must be a vote of confidence for Patrick. So it’ll be him, with Trey Sermon starting and potentially Trenton Cannon receiving a few touches this game.

Adam Schefter tweeted earlier on Sunday morning that Elijah Mitchell, who was listed as questionable, would miss his second straight game with a shoulder injury.

George Kittle will play. His calf injury would have had to have been severe for Kittle to miss this matchup.

With Josh Norman out, we’re looking at Dre Kirkpatrick starting his first game after being inactive last week. Expect Deommodore Lenoir to start in the slot. Whoever starts, I’m curious to see how the 49ers’ secondary does against Seattle’s speed at wide receiver.

Here’s a look at today’s inactives:

CB K’Waun Williams

RB Elijah Mitchell

CB Josh Norman

RG Aaron Banks

DT Zach Kerr

That means Ambry Thomas is inactive after being a healthy scratch the past two games. Buster Skrine is active, and he could start in the slot. DT Maurice Hurst is active as well.
