6 takeaways from the Jaguars’ initial 53-man roster

The Jacksonville Jaguars cut their roster down to 53 players Tuesday with a flurry of roster moves that included six players getting released and 27 getting sent to waivers.

That doesn’t mean more moves aren’t coming. Jacksonville probably has a few more tweaks to make before the Week 1 opener against the Indianapolis Colts.
