The 2024 offseason is in full swing, and we’re just over a month away from the start of the new league year and free agency. And the Chicago Bears have some important decisions to make when it comes to whether to re-sign some in-house free agents.
General manager Ryan Poles decided to run it back with Matt Eberflus heading into a crucial Year 3 where things need to start clicking. But there are still some holes at key positions, some of which can addressed with a starter or depth piece in free agency.
There are some big names set to hit the open market for Chicago, none bigger than All-Pro and Pro Bowl cornerback Jaylon Johnson, who’s coming off a career year and looking to get paid. But Poles already made it clear Johnson will be back this season.
Ahead of free agency, we’re looking at Johnson and other in-house free agents the Bears should consider re-signing in 2024.
