The Jets made a few moves this offseason to give themselves some breathing room with the salary cap. The Jets weren’t in trouble in terms of being over the salary cap, but they did need some extra room for what ended up being a solid shopping spree in free agency, including retooling the offensive line.

Between releases and contracts voiding before this offseason, the Jets have built up some dead money for 2024. And while they do rank near the top ten in total dead money, their $34.5 million, per Over the Cap is at least less than or just above the dead money hits the Denver Broncos will take for both this season ($53 million) and next season ($32 million) for releasing quarterback Russell Wilson.

Here are the nine Jets set to count against the salary cap in 2024 as dead money hits.
