The Cleveland Browns started off slow, but came away with a decent NFL Draft class.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are focused on running their race, but they have their eye on the Cleveland Browns and what they are doing.

Here’s a look at who the Browns drafted over the weekend:

Round 2 (No. 54): DL Mike Hall Jr., Ohio State

Round 3 (No. 85): IOL Zak Zinter, Michigan

Round 5 (No. 156): WR Jamari Thrash, Louisville

Round 6 (No. 206): LB Nathaniel Watson, Mississippi State

Round 7 (No. 227): CB Myles Harden, South Dakota

Round 7 (No. 243): DL Jowon Briggs, Cincinnati

The Browns have been absent at the start of the past few NFL Drafts due to the Deshaun Watson trade the team made back in 2022. But this is the last year where they owe draft compensation to the Houston Texans.

Michael Hall Jr. appears to be the player with the highest likelihood of contributing in his rookie year. Zak Zinter is coming off of a major leg surgery and he’ll be spending most of the offseason in recovery before he has the chance to become part of the Browns offensive line.

The rest of the players aren’t locks to make the roster, but wideout Jamari Thrash could have a chance to crack one of the team’s final spots in the receiver room.

The Browns didn’t have a bad draft, but compared to the rest of the AFC North, they had the fewest assets and resources. But considering they made the playoffs last season, they should still be a threat for the Steelers in the division.
