AD was recognized by his peers for his 2023 contributions

Los Angeles Rams star Aaron Donald landed another honor to pad his already stellar Hall of Fame resume. On Wednesday, Donald was selected to the second annual NFLPA Players’ All-Pro team for the 2023-24 campaign as voted on by his peers.

The LA star interior defensive lineman earned First-team All-Pro honors from the association alongside Chris Jones of the Kansas City Chiefs. AD was the lone Rams player named to the team based on their regular season contributions.

This marked Donald’s second straight year being recognized by the players. He was also an NFLPA All-Pro selection during the 2022 season.

The news comes after Donald became the sixth player to be voted to his 10th-consecutive Pro Bowl, joining elite company in Joe Thomas, Merlin Olsen, Mel Renfro, Barry Sanders and Lawrence Taylor.

Despite missing six games last season, AD roared back with a vengeance in ‘23. Aaron started all 16 games he played in, registering eight sacks, 53 total tackles (16 for loss) and 23 QB hits. He was tied with rookie linebacker Byron Young for second on the team in sacks, finishing one behind another rookie in NT Kobie Turner. Donald’s eight sacks marked the ninth time in his decade with the Rams that he’s registered at least eight sacks.

Earning a chance at a second Super Bowl ring has to be at the top of the list for Aaron Donald ahead of LA’s unlikely trip to the postseason. The ageless wonder continues defying the odds and could finish as the greatest to ever play at his position. Of course the Ramily already knew that didn’t they?
