Aaron Rodgers Wears “I’m Offended” Shirt to Golf Press Conference

A golf press conference turns into the roast of Aaron Rodgers and Bryson DeChambeau, with an interesting wardrobe choice.
On Tuesday, Bleacher Report posted the press conference for Capital One’s The Match, which will broadcast on TNT on July 7th, on their YouTube channel. The competition puts the pairing of Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and professional golfer Phil Mickelson head-to-head with Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau, but the most buzzworthy information is that while the golfers donned regalia of sponsored gear, Rodgers chose to wear a shirt that simply said “I’m offended” with an angry emoji.

Not much of substance was said, in the context of Rodgers’ ongoing dispute with Green Bay, but the shirt choice comes with interesting timing after Packers president Mark Murphy called the quarterback “a complicated fella” last week. Jokes were made between the five characters on camera, including host Brian Anderson, about the situation. Hey, Bleacher Report didn’t title the video “Tom Brady Trolls Aaron Rodgers with 4th-Down Joke” for nothing.

DeChambeau: Yeah, I’ll never push anyone to do anything, so he can choose to do whatever he wants to do.
Rodgers: Well I usually don’t get the option, in my experience.
Brady: I know the pain.
This is clearly a reference to the Packers’ decision to kick a field goal late against Brady’s Buccaneers in the NFC Championship Game, which was also the subject of a joke when Rodgers hosted Jeopardy! in April. July 7th! Tune in! Maybe we’ll have some answers by then.
