The Steelers and Bengals are 1-0, while the Ravens and Browns find themselves in an early hole.

The first week of NFL football is behind us, and it was quite the week in the AFC North division. With that said, it is time to see how the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns all did in the week that was.

Time to take a look…

Las Vegas Raiders – 33
Baltimore Ravens – 27 (OT)

This Monday Night Football game did not disappoint, unless you are like me and went to bed at halftime. This was the first blown 14-point lead by the Ravens in what seems like an eternity. There are fans who are ready to bury Baltimore after this loss, compiled with the injuries sustained so far this year, but the Ravens will continue to be a tough team to beat throughout the season.

Kansas City Chiefs – 33
Cleveland Browns – 29

Speaking of blown leads, the Browns came out of the gates looking like gang busters, only to blow a 9-point lead on the road vs. the Chiefs. Browns fans should have some confidence with how their team played. They ware going to be a tough out this year, whether you want to admit it or not.

Cincinnati Bengals – 27
Minnesota Vikings – 24 (OT)

In what might have been the surprise of the week, the Bengals started the year with a win. The overtime win over the Vikings had it all, including a 61-yard Jordan Berry punt for Minnesota. The Bengals have talent, not one is denying that, but can they put it all together, especially the line who needs to protect Joe Burrow. I sound like a broken record, but the Bengals will be a tough team this season, which just solidifies the AFC North as the best division in football.

Pittsburgh Steelers – 23
Buffalo Bills – 16

It wasn’t pretty, and Bills Mafia will tell you the Steelers didn’t deserve the win. That the Bills won everything but on the scoreboard. Lucky for the Steelers, the scoreboard is the only thing that counts.
