AFC South standings Week 2: Texans take the lead

With Week 1 now behind us, everyone will be keeping a close eye on where the Indianapolis Colts sit in the AFC South standings each week.

Only one team in the division came out victorious during the opening week of the 2021 season. To almost everyone’s surprise, it was the Houston Texans, who spoiled the debut of Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

The Texans dominated the Jaguars at home en route to a 37-21 victory on the back of Tyrod Taylor, who was 21/32 (63.6%) for 291 yards and two touchdowns and a 112.1 passer rating.

Meanwhile, the Colts dropped their home opener against the Seattle Seahawks. Elsewhere, the Tennessee Titans were routed by the Arizona Cardinals, 38-13.
