The Maxx Williams injury looms large for the Arizona Cardinals, but they have one of their main tight ends back.

From the team:

The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has activated tight end Darrell Daniels from the Reserve/COVID-19 list and has released cornerback Luq Barcoo and wide receiver Josh Doctson from the practice squad.

While Daniels is a better tight end two and mostly the ideal tight end three on a roster, he has been the man for the Cardinals at tight end before and has shown he can do well.

Now the question is, will the team trust he and Demetrius Harris to fill the Williams role, with a little Ross Travis sprinkled in, or is there a move on the horizon.

No matter what, the tight end position through the first four games has been an important one for the Cardinals, so they’ll need to adapt in some way.
