The Arizona Cardinals could be getting reinforcements for their offensive line.

The Arizona Cardinals could be getting some help back along the offensive line in the next couple of weeks.

The team announced today they have opened the practice window for Elijah Wilkinson, from the team:

The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has designated offensive lineman Elijah Wilkinson to return from the injured reserve list.

Wilkinson can begin practicing and the team can activate him to the 53-man roster at any time during the next 21 days or at the conclusion of the three-week period.

While we all lamented the play of Wilkinson at times during the beginning of the year, the adage it can always get worse showed to be true, as Dennis Daley and Carter O’Donnell have not been able to match the play of Wilkinson or his replacement, Trystan Colon.

So, maybe having Wilkinson back will not be a bad thing.

Let’s hope he is ready after the Arizona Cardinals finally enter their bye week after this weeks matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
