The Arizona Cardinals stay active on their practice squad, signing two players and releasing one.

From the team:

The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has signed safety Javon Hagan and cornerback Lavert Hill to the practice squad and has released defensive lineman Jeremiah Ledbetter from the practice squad.

Hagan (6-0, 215) spent all of last season on Tampa Bay’s practice squad after originally joining the Buccaneers as an undrafted rookie free agent from Ohio University. He made his NFL debut in the NFC Championship game last season after being elevated from the practice squad. While at Ohio, Hagan had 318 tackles (192 solo), 26 passes defensed, six interceptions, nine forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries.

Hill (5-10, 190) entered the league with Kansas City as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2020 from the University of Michigan. He spent his rookie season on the practice squads of the Chiefs and Eagles and was with Philadelphia in the preseason. Hill played in 48 games (38 starts) at Michigan and was a three-time All-Big Ten selection (2017-19) who earned All-American honors and was a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award in 2018.

Welcome to the desert Javon and Lavert.
