The Arizona Cardinals announced four roster moves on Thursday… None of which involved J.J. Watt yet.

From the team:

The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced the following roster moves:

– Signed offensive lineman Zack Johnson to the active roster from the practice squad

– Elevated offensive lineman Danny Isidora (izz-uh-DORA) and defensive lineman Josh Mauro (MORE-oh) to the active roster from the practice squad as standard elevations

– Elevated linebacker Joe Walker to the active roster from the practice squad as a COVID-19 replacement

Johnson (6-6, 301) signed with the Cardinals practice squad on September 30 after playing with the Packers during the preseason. He spent his entire rookie season on Green Bay’s practice squad last year after originally joining the Packers in 2020 as an undrafted rookie free agent from North Dakota State. While at North Dakota State, Johnson played in 54 games and made 46 career starts at both guard and tackle.

Isidora (6-3, 306) has played in each of the past three games with Arizona after being elevated from the practice squad. He signed with the Cardinals practice squad on September 29 and has played in 29 career games (six starts) after originally entering the league with Minnesota as a fifth-round selection (180th overall) in the 2017 NFL Draft out of the University of Miami.

Mauro (6-6, 290) played last week against Houston and had one tackle after being elevated from the practice squad. He was re-signed to Arizona’s practice squad on October 19 after spending training camp with the team. Mauro played in three games (two starts) last season with Arizona and had five tackles and one sack after previously playing 47 games (26 starts) with the Cardinals between 2014-17 when he had 70 tackles (52 solo), two sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He originally entered the league with Pittsburgh as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2014 from Stanford.

Walker (6-2, 236) signed with the Cardinals practice squad on October 13 and played the past two games, collecting two special teams tackles and one tackle on defense. He played 30 games (11 starts) with Arizona in 2018-19 and had a career high 61 tackles (37 solo) in 2019 while collecting 15 special teams tackles. The 28-year Walker was originally drafted by Philadelphia in the seventh round (251st overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft out of Oregon and played 12 games with San Francisco last year.

Isidora will wear #63, Johnson will wear #69, Mauro will wear #96, and Walker will wear #59.
