The Arizona Cardinals come up just short in the final game of the 2023 season.

It didn’t need to be that close, but it wouldn’t be an Arizona Cardinals vs Seattle Seahawks game.

No, it came down to the end and Matt Prater missed two field goals late, and the Arizona Cardinals lost 21-20.

This game saw a lot of good things.

First off, I don’t think there are enough superlatives for James Conner, but to see him reach 1,000 rushing yards for the first time in his career, and doing it in a season that was so tough was special.

Kyler Murray and the offense looks like it is getting into a groove and they are maybe one or two players away from being really good.

Defensively we know there are a lot of issues, but they seem to be understanding where and how to play, it just seems like they lack the talent right now.

However, this team seems to be on the right track and Jonathan Gannon and his staff know how to get the guys to buy-in.

We will see how that ends up, but for now, you have to be excited about the direction of the team and the way they are heading.

And, that miss gives them the fourth overall pick instead of the fifth pick with the win.
