The Arizona Cardinals get their third win of the 2023 NFL season.

Even with a 10-3 lead at the half, no one saw this coming for the Arizona Cardinals.

After one of the best drives of the 2023 season, a 99-yard touchdown drive capped off by back-to-back touchdown throws from Kyler Murray to Trey McBride, one of which finally counted, you wondered how the Cardinals would come out in the second half.

A huge rain delay, then the Cardinals come out and go a quick three and out. The Pittsburgh Steelers fumbled a shotgun snap, shout-out former Cardinal Mason Cole with two bad snaps today, and the Cardinals took advantage as they won 24-10 on the road.

Kyler Murray was able to avoid a pass rush and Greg Dortch was able to get a pass interference call which led to James Conner’s first touchdown of the day.

Then, the Steelers had a nice drive working, but a missed field goal led to what felt like a good chance for the Cardinals. Instead, the Cardinals elected to punt and pinned the Steelers deep in their own territory.

That worked, because a bad punt and another Steelers penalty gave the Cardinals another short field.

We saw maybe the best play of the Murray return, negated by a holding penalty that we unfortunately never got a replay of. Yet, it didn’t stop the Cardinals as they punched in another one, with James Conner scoring his second touchdown of the day.

The Steelers got a cheap touchdown, but it didn’t matter as James Conner imposed his will on the Steelers, getting every carry on the last drive before the two minute warning and putting the offense and team on his back, carrying six times for 55-yards. Finishing with 25 carries for 105 yards and two touchdowns.

The Cardinals… Dominated the second half, and that is maybe the most impressive thing of the season.
