Former Falcons WR Scotty Miller follows Arthur Smith to Pittsburgh

Another former Falcons player followed Arthur Smith to Pittsburgh on Wednesday. Wide receiver Scotty Miller, who signed a one-year deal with the Falcons last offseason, has agreed to terms with the Steelers on another one-year deal, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Miller, 26, racked up 11 catches for 161 receiving yards and two touchdowns in Atlanta last season. The veteran wideout is now the fourth member of last year’s Falcons team to sign with the Steelers in free agency.

Running back Cordarrelle Patterson, tight end MyCole Pruitt and wide receiver Van Jefferson also followed their former head coach to Pittsburgh. Smith, who spent three seasons as Atlanta’s head coach (2021-2023), was hired as the Steelers offensive coordinator a few months ago.
