Examining Falcons QB Desmond Ridder’s 8 NFL starts

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Desmond Ridder now has eight starts under his belt following Sunday’s 23-7 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. As you would expect, the former third-round pick out of Cincinnati has experienced some ups and downs.

Ridder has taken care of the ball for the most part, but he’s also been somewhat limited as a passer. The second-year QB had one of his worst games in Week 4 and is now facing the kind of scrutiny that Marcus Mariota and Matt Ryan know all too well.
