The Atlanta Falcons outlasted the New York Jets in a 13-8 slugfest on Sunday. The win keeps the Falcons on top of the NFC South for another week at least.
Things didn’t go as well for the New Orleans Saints, who lost quarterback Derek Carr during their 33-28 loss to the Detroit Lions. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers came away with a 21-18 win over the Carolina Panthers to improve to 5-7 on the season.
The Bucs overtook the Saints to move into second place within the division. Check out the updated NFC South standings below.
