The Atlanta Falcons will take on the Carolina Panthers Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. ET to kick off the 2023 NFL season. The Falcons are relatively healthy going into Week 1, while the Panthers are a little more dinged up.
Carolina already ruled out wide receiver DJ Chark for Sunday’s game, but the team received better news on fellow wideout Adam Thielen. According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Thielen is “good to go” for Week 1.

Thielen was listed as questionable on the Panthers’ final injury report, and his status should be welcome news for rookie QB Bryce Young. The former No. 1 overall pick is set to make his first NFL start against the Falcons.
With Chark out, look for Thielen and rookie Jonathan Mingo to be Carolina’s primary targets on Sunday.
