The Arizona Cardinals came out flat today and in the end it cost them.

Defensively the team started slow, then Kyler Murray came out in the second half and threw a bad pick that Nick Vigil returned for a touchdown.

It was ugly, it was ineffective and it was a 34-33 win for the Cardinals.

That’s all that matters for the team, even if it felt like they didn’t earn it.

Instead you had a massive day for Kyler Murray in the stat column, finishing 29/36 for 400 yards 3 touchdowns and two interceptions to go along with a rushing touchdown.

That’s nine touchdowns on the season for Murray.

However, the defense basically pitched a shutout in the second half, as Kyler threw the pick six, while Tanner Vallejo’s roughing the punter penalty set the Vikings up for three more points.

It was the offense that struggled in the second half, blowing an opportunity to close out the Vikings.

The offensive line especially struggled today.

Yet, the Arizona Cardinals won and sit at 2-0 heading into a matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

That is all that matters.
