Let’s pick the winners of all the NFL’s Week 9 games.

The NFL is back in action with Week 9 starting tonight when the Jets and Colts face off on Thursday Night Football. The Colts (-11) are currently the favorites to win.

There are a few quality games on the schedule this week, but I feel like it’s more fun to predict all of them to see how many I can get right. Last week I was 8-7 (after going 10-3 the week before) so you can clearly see that I’m just throwing darts at a dartboard here. But maybe I can get lucky this week, eh?

With that being said, let’s take a look at the games on tap for this week, the betting lines and my thoughts on who will win. If you’re up for it, feel free to add your predictions in the comments.

NFL Week 9 picks

Jets (2-5) vs Colts (3-5) (TNF)

Point spread: Jets +11, Colts -11
Over/Under: 46
Moneyline: Jets +375, Colts -510

My pick: Colts 31 Jets 17

This is probably going to be the least exciting Thursday Night Football game of the season, and the Colts should run away with this one easily. Mike White will probably drop 500 yards and 40 points on ‘em, though, because why not?

Falcons (3-4) vs Saints (5-2)

Point spread: Falcons +6, Saints -6
Over/Under: 42.5
Moneyline: Falcons +200, Saints -250

My pick: Saints 22 Falcons 18

Trying to predict the result of an NFC South game is a fool’s errand, so I’m just going to say that I think the Saints are the better football team and will probably win this game.

Broncos (4-4) vs Cowboys (6-1)

Point spread: Broncos +9, Cowboys -9
Over/Under: 49.5
Moneyline: Broncos +310, Cowboys -410

My pick: Cowboys 33 Broncos 20

The Cowboys are better, and the Broncos just traded one of their best players. I think the Cowboys win this one by multiple scores.

Patriots (4-4) vs Panthers (4-4)

Point spread: Patriots -3.5, Panthers +3.5
Over/Under: 41
Moneyline: Patriots -180, Panthers +155

My pick: Patriots 20 Panthers 13

I can’t pick the Panthers here because we’re not allowed to have nice things. Also, I don’t know if PJ Walker can play well enough to give the Panthers enough offense to win this one.

Vikings (3-4) vs Ravens (5-2)

Point spread: Vikings +6, Ravens -6
Over/Under: 50
Moneyline: Vikings +200, Ravens -250

My pick: Ravens 27 Vikings 17

The Ravens are at home and are the better team. They should be able to win this game.

Browns (4-4) vs Bengals (5-3)

Point spread: Browns +2.5, Bengals -2.5
Over/Under: 46.5
Moneyline: Browns +125, Bengals -145

My pick: Bengals 20 Browns 17

This one will probably be close, but I like the Bengals here. I think they’re building something positive and will continue to trend upwards.

Bills (5-2) vs Jaguars (1-6)

Point spread: Bills -14, Jaguars +14
Over/Under: 49
Moneyline: Bills -1000, Jaguars +650

My pick: Bills 31 Jaguars 9

The Bills are just leagues ahead of the Jaguars right now and I don’t think this game will be particularly close.

Texans (1-7) vs Dolphins (1-7)

Point spread: Texans +6.5, Dolphins -6.5
Over/Under: 46.5
Moneyline: Texans +230, Dolphins -290

My pick: Texans 23 Dolphins 23

Kudos to you if you’re able to actually watch this game. I’m gonna go with the long shot and predict a tie here because I can’t decide which one of these two teams will play worse than the other. Also because it would be funny if they both ended up 1-7-1 after this week.

Raiders (5-2) vs Giants (2-6)

Point spread: Raiders -3, Giants +3
Over/Under: 46.5
Moneyline: Raiders -150, Giants +130

My pick: Raiders 26 Giants 17

I feel like the Raiders are good enough to get the job done here.

Chargers (4-3) vs Eagles (3-5)

Point spread: Chargers -2, Eagles +2
Over/Under: 50
Moneyline: Chargers -135, Eagles +115

My pick: Chargers 28 Eagles 20

The Chargers are good and the Eagles have been up and down all season, so I’m going to give the Chargers the edge here.

Packers (7-1) vs Chiefs (4-4)

Point spread: Packers +1, Chiefs -1
Over/Under: 54
Moneyline: Packers +100, Chiefs -120

My pick: Chiefs 24 Packers 14

The Packers are arguably the best team in the league after beating the Cardinals last Monday night, but they’re going to be without Aaron Rodgers for this one. The Chiefs are struggling this year, but I like them over a Packers team without Rodgers under center.

Cardinals (7-1) vs 49ers (3-4)

Point spread: Cardinals -1, 49ers +1
Over/Under: 45
Moneyline: Cardinals -110, 49ers -110

My pick: Cardinals 27 49ers 24

The Cardinals are the better team and should win, but if I’m going to be wrong about a game this week, this is probably the most likely one because literally anything can happen between division rivals.

Titans (6-2) vs Rams (7-1) (SNF)

Point spread: Titans +7.5, Rams -7.5
Over/Under: 54
Moneyline: Titans +270, Rams -350

My pick: Rams 34 Titans 20

The Rams are one of the best teams in the league, and they’re going to prove that again this week when they take down the Titans.

Bears (3-5) vs Steelers (4-3) (MNF)

Point spread: Bears +6, Steelers -6
Over/Under: 40
Moneyline: Bears +200, Steelers -250

My pick: Steelers 29 Bears 14

Both of these teams have struggled at times this year, but I think the Steelers have the edge being at home and are picking them for that reason.
