Bears 2021 training camp roster preview: Special teams

Chicago Bears training camp is less than a month away, which means it’s time to start looking ahead at the roster the team is bringing to Lake Forest.

We’ve covered the entire offensive side of the ball with quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends, and offensive line. The defense is also complete with the defensive line, inside linebackers, outside linebackers, cornerbacks and safeties all accounted for. Now, we’re moving to special teams.

The Bears brought back their entire trio of special teamers for the 2021 season, including kicker Cairo Santos, who signed a three-year contract extension following an historic season in Chicago. Punter Pat O’Donnell and long snapper Patrick Scales round out the specialists. As for who will be returning kicks, that’s certainly a storyline worth monitoring as camp kicks off.
