Bears fans are triggered after Cairo Santos doinks missed field goal

Chicago Bears fans have been through some brutal times in the franchise’s storied history. But nothing is more traumatizing — at least in recent memory — than Cody Parkey’s infamous double-doink missed field goal that cost Chicago a NFC wild card win against the Eagles in Jan. 2019.

Heading into Week 9, Santos had connected on all 11 field goals on the season. So it was certainly surprising when Santos missed a field goal in the first half of Chicago’s game against the New Orleans Saints. But it wasn’t just any miss; it was a doink.
