Bears Power Rankings roundup: Where Chicago stands after Super Bowl LVIII

After an exciting Super Bowl, Chicago Bears fans are excited to turn the page and look ahead to the 2024 season. Going into the offseason, there will be many questions that need to be answered. What will the Bears do at quarterback? How are they going to handle the top pick in the 2024 NFL draft? How will Matt Eberflus’ new coordinators change things in Chicago?

Before we fully turn the page, let’s revisit last season. In 2023, the Bears finished 7-10, winning seven of their final 12 games, which was the reason why Eberflus was able to remain the head coach of the team. On offense, Justin Fields failed to take the leap that fans expected. His offensive weapons improved, including the addition of DJ Moore, but Fields didn’t show enough improvement to stave off talks about starting over at quarterback with the No. 1 pick.

Chicago has brought in two new coordinators — offensive coordinator Shane Waldron and defensive coordinator Richard Hightower — to help improve production on both sides of the ball. With all of these changes, this will undoubtedly be Eberflus’ last season if the team fails to produce a winning record or make the playoffs in 2024.
