Chicago Bears running back D’Onta Foreman has had a gutsy performance against the Detroit Lions while dealing with an ankle injury, but it looks like it could keep him out for the rest of the game. Foreman re-aggravated his ankle injury early in the third quarter and is questionable to return.

Foreman had a solid first half, scoring the first Bears touchdown of the day. But he’s been in and out of the lineup. He had a 13-yard carry early in the third quarter before exiting the game. NFL on FOX sideline reporter Kristina Pink said Foreman was working on the sideline, trying to get back in. Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson are the primary running backs going forward.
Even without Foreman, the Bears have been able to get back on track and lead Detroit 20-14 in the second half.
